PARASAILING SINGER ISLAND: WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

Our Singer Island parasailing adventure is the perfect vacation activity that you will not soon forget! Our experienced captain and crew will go over all safety procedures before we depart the dock, then we are on our way of the Palm Beach Inlet into the beautiful ocean. While you are in the air you will experience breathtaking views of Singer and Palm Beach Island with the possibility of seeing a dolphin or turtle below the crystal clear waters.

PARASAILING SINGER ISLAND: WHAT YOU SHOULD  WEAR

We recommend that you wear comfortable beach attire. It is recommended that you either wear UV protected clothing or apply sunscreen before our departure as you will be under the warm Florida sunshine for the duration of your trip.

PARASAILING SINGER ISLAND: HOW DOES PARASAILING WORK?

Our parasailing equipment allows us to fly 2-3 guests at a time (side by side). There is a platform off the stern of our boat where all of our take-offs and landings take place. Once our crew member ensures you are secure in your harness, you will gently be lifted into the air as you start your ascend. Once you are up in the air you will be amazed how peaceful it is as you drift over the beautiful blue ocean soaking in the breathtaking views that surround you. You will be up in the air for 10-12 minutes, as you begin your descent back to the boat you will have the option of being dipped in the water or not. If you choose not to be dipped you will gently land onto the same platform that you took off from. If you choose to be dipped into the water, you will quickly splash into the warm Florida ocean before returning to the platform.

PARASAILING SINGER ISLAND: PHOTO OPTIONS

Many people want photos to capture this exhilarating moment on the water. We offer a photo package for $60 and will snap several photos of your party. We do allow guests to bring their own camera at their own risk. Please know that our captain and crew are not responsible for any lost items over the duration of your trip. We have had several customers lose their cameras and phones to the ocean so our photo package is a convenience option for you to capture this fun moment.

FAQ's

Q: Do I need to know how to swim?
A: No, both the take-off and landings are done from a platform on the back of the boat. In the unlikely event of a boat malfunction, the chute will gently drift the flyers down to the water where your mandatory life jackets will keep you afloat.

Q: Will I get wet?
A: Not if you don’t want to. It is your choice as a flyer if you’d like to dip your feet in the water before safely landing on the platform. If you do not wish to touch the water at all, please ask the captain for a dry landing.

Q: Do I need to have any prior experience?
A: No prior experience is needed. If you can sit down and relax, you can parasail!

Q: How many people can parasail at the same time?
A: Our safety equipment allows for 2-3 people to fly side by side. This number will be based off of the captains discretion for the safety of your trip.

Q: Can I bring my own camera while I am flying?
A: Yes you can at your own risk. We have seen many cameras and phones find a new home at the bottom of the sea. We offer a photo package for just $40 if you’d like to be on the safer side. We are not held liable for any lost property while you are parasailing.

Q: Should I tip the crew?
A: Absolutely, all of our captain and crew’s income is primarily based on gratuity. If you have enjoyed your trip please don’t forget about the crew, they work very hard to ensure you have a safe and fun experience.

Q: Is there an age requirement for parasailing?
A: Any child must be at least 6 years of age to parasail. Children 15 years and younger must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Children 16-17 may be unaccompanied while on the parasailing trip as long as they bring a valid photo ID and have a parent or legal guardian present to sign the waiver.

Q: Can I ride on the boat if I am not going to fly?
A: Yes, we do offer a spectator price of $40. This is based on availability.

Q: Can I go if I am Pregnant?
A: We allow women in their first trimester to parasail at their discretion. After the first trimester we believe it would be safest to parasail after the baby is born.

Q: What should I wear?

A: We recommend that you wear comfortable beach attire. Please keep in mind of daily temperatures, if your reservation is on a cooler day you may want to wear a long sleeve shirt. We always recommend either wearing  UV protected clothing or applying sunscreen prior to our departure as you will be under the warm fFlorida sunshine for the duration of your trip

Q: How does parasailing work?

A:  Our Parasailing adventure is extremely safe and is much different than what many people imagine. Once you are strapped in and ready to go, you are slowly raised into the air until you reach the maximum height (500ft). When your experience has come to an end, you will slowly be pulled back towards the boat, landing safely back on the platform. All of the equipment that goes into the process is rigorously tested for your safety so that you can enjoy your experience and have a great time.
